L’artiste Cynthia Montier et la chercheuse Sophie Prinssen du collectif Activismes Ésotériques organisent un travail collaboratif questionnant les liens existants entre soin, corps et pouvoir. À partir des récits des urgentistes et des recherches des artistes sur l’ésotérisme, l’action consiste à réaliser une performance artistique collective avec les soignants et les soignantes, au sein des Urgences de Sarreguemines. Pour le projet Consultations, Cynthia et Sophie se servent du vocabulaire de la magie comme d’un levier pour favoriser l’expression de chacun et chacune. Elles réalisent à partir des récits des soignantes un corpus de talismans et amulettes textiles de soin et de force, une armoirie du travail du soin inspirée de postures de femmes à travers les âges, les corps et les métiers.

The artist Cynthia Montier and the researcher Sophie Prinssen from the collective Activismes Ésotériques organize a collaborative work questioning the existing links between care, body and power. Based on the stories of emergency physicians and the artists’ research on esotericism, the action consists of creating a collective artistic performance with the caregivers, in the emergency room of Sarreguemines. For the project Consultations, Cynthia and Sophie use the vocabulary of magic as a lever to encourage the expression of each and everyone. They create a corpus of talismans and textile amulets of care and strength from the stories of the caregivers, an armory of the work of care inspired by the postures of women through the ages, the bodies and the professions.
